INNER CASTLE

The Inner Castle is a historical building located in the center of Alanya Castle, which is an important destination after the cable car ride. The Inner Castle is the oldest and most important part of the castle complex and was built during the Seljuk period. This section was used as the center of the defense and administrative functions of the castle.

After the cable car ride, visitors can wander around the walls and bastions of the Citadel, observing excellent examples of medieval architecture and finding traces of the daily life of this period. There are also historical ruins, cisterns and structures from the Seljuk period in the Inner Castle.

At the highest point of the Citadel, there is a terrace where you can enjoy panoramic views and see the magnificent beauties of the city of Alanya, the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean. From this point, it is possible to photograph the unique views of the cable car ride and all the beauties of the castle complex.

In short, İç Kale is one of the unforgettable stops of the cable car journey and offers visitors the opportunity to explore Alanya's history and cultural heritage. This unique structure has become the symbol of Alanya and constitutes one of the most important and interesting parts of the cable car experience.

The cable car let’s you to have a nice view on your way up to the castle. When you reach up on the hill the view is breathtaking. All Alanya is before you. On one side you see Damlataş on the other you see Kleopatra Beach.
